Would you take that other road?














The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

I have always liked this poem by Robert Frost because it is something

we all face at one time or another in our lives.

There will always be two or more roads and will always be a less traveled. 

The others more popular. Where one may be more convenient. 

Which one of these are we going to travel? 

Will taking the road less traveled truly make all of the difference for us

and our loved ones?

All roads will have their challenges and perils along their paths,

Life after all is not a simple journey.  

Take the one which will bring unexpected rewards and happiness.

There are two roads and one is a lot more traveled. 

One may be a lot more popular. 

The other one a lot more convenient. 

Which one of these are we going to travel?
