Love the difficult ones more...

One of the greatest lessons I ever received from my Viejita was to always try to understand others... much like the quote, " work to understand rather than be understood."

She would also add that quite often people just needed someone to "LOVE" them.

We all must uncover all opportunities that "gift" us personal meaning.

We must look hard for our chance to both give and receive LOVE.

Love is after all just too important to miss out on gifting, especially because others are “difficult.”

Often, they have been no more difficult than you or I.

- Mother Teresa (1910-1997), born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, was a Roman Catholic nun of Albanian birth and founder of the Missionaries of Charity wrote one of my favorite quotes:

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self- centered;

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of having selfish, ulterior motives;

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;

Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;

Build it anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous;

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;

Do it anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;

Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;

It was never between you and them . . . anyway.

Love BIG and Make it a great día!
